Founder Martin shares:
"In the summer of 2009, I made the decision to start Concreeto. After working in the staffing industry since 2001, it was time to go independent.
Over the years, I had built a reliable network of candidates and clients. The trust that Concreeto could grow from that foundation was the deciding factor. With passion and determination, I embarked on this entrepreneurial adventure."

2009
In 2009, Martin Dekker founded Concreeto on Cypresbaan in Capelle aan den IJssel. Before officially launching, he made sure all essential certifications and registrations were in place: NBBU membership, the SNA quality mark, and VCU certification.
By December that year, everything was set. From that moment on, Concreeto was ready to hit the ground running!

2010
From a modest office, Martin made the first job placements. Of course, it came with ups and downs, but confidence in the company quickly grew. In that very first year, Concreeto already achieved over 66,000 staffing hours.
Growth followed swiftly: the first administrative support colleague joined the team, and a larger office space on Cypresbaan was soon in use.

2011
Growth continued at a rapid pace, and more and more temporary workers found their way to Concreeto. The office on Cypresbaan became impractical, prompting the search for a more visible location. The perfect spot was found on Hoogstraat in Rotterdam, the city's oldest street.
After a renovation, with help from family and friends, Concreeto moved into its new office in March. Meanwhile, the team continued to expand. Concreeto began to truly take shape and establish its place in Rotterdam.

2012
Industry, engineering, and shipyards became the core markets where Concreeto deployed its skilled workers. Each one delivering top-notch craftsmanship and achieving impressive results.
The team regularly visits clients to admire the final results. For example, when a (bare hull) ship is completed. These are the moments when the level of expertise and dedication truly shines through.

2013
By now, the Rotterdam team had grown to five dedicated professionals, tackling daily challenges with enthusiasm and determination.
This drive was clearly reflected in the numbers. Annual staffing hours had already surpassed 150,000.

2014
Logistics and construction were now also part of Concreeto’s client base. Finding the perfect match between client and candidate became more complex. The talent pool needed to expand, and so recruitment efforts reached beyond Hungary and Poland to include countries like Slovakia, Slovenia, and Croatia.
Meanwhile, the Rotterdam team kept growing, welcoming another new colleague.

2015
Concreeto turned 5. And of course, the team celebrated the milestone together!
In January, they headed to Paris for a few days to mark the occasion. Climbing the Eiffel Tower together symbolized both looking back at past achievements and gazing ahead toward future opportunities.
The impact was clear: by the end of the year, Concreeto was nearing an impressive 260,000 staffing hours.

2016
This year brought its share of challenges, including setbacks with some clients and a cooling market. Still, the team kept fighting and stayed optimistic. Their belief in delivering quality and personal attention never wavered.
Appreciation was given and received. Together, the team continued to spot and seize new opportunities. Side by side with our temporary workers and clients, we kept moving forward. Something that truly defined this year.

2017
Sometimes you lose a client, but luckily new ones come along. Naturally, this brings fresh challenges that the team tackles with energy and collaboration. This year, the team grew to eight members.
Together with János, the company explored new ways to recruit staff. By the end of the year, they discovered an opportunity in Romania. A great way to push boundaries.
They also focused more on attracting clients who are a good fit for Concreeto. This strategy paid off and strengthened their position in the market.

Why does Concreeto do what it does? Why do many things go well, and why do some things sometimes not? What message do we send out, and how?
These questions were central to an intensive process aimed at clearly defining Concreeto’s “Why.” For the whole team, it was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience. The best moment was when the results became visible and everyone recognized themselves in it.
This led to a new logo and a modern corporate identity. To celebrate, a professional photoshoot was organized.

What a year this was! Opportunity after opportunity. Challenge after challenge. Such trust and support!
Amazing clients and temporary workers, and a team that shared unforgettable experiences. No mountain was too high to conquer. At various job sites, video recordings were made to showcase the work of the temporary staff.
As the cherry on top, the year ended with a spectacular 10-year anniversary party at the Fenix House. A truly memorable moment!

The office was due for a makeover to match the corporate identity. Amidst all the work, this renovation was completed, giving the work atmosphere a huge boost.
For their digital presence, they produced a company film that captured Concreeto’s DNA in both images and sound.

2021
Business keeps going despite the challenges of COVID-19. Staying clear-headed and practical isn’t easy in these times, but through regular and effective communication, the team manages exceptionally well. This helps keep both the client base and the group of temporary workers stable.
It was a year full of uncertainties, yet it went smoothly thanks to the dedication and teamwork of everyone involved.

The impact of government measures is still felt daily this year. Yet, the demand for personnel continues to grow, and the team expands further.
A visit to Budapest, the city of colleague János, was part of the year’s highlights, including photo and video shoots to capture the work and experiences.
And of course, there was a festive moment: Concreeto celebrated twelve and a half years in business. They marked it in a playful way with a custom-designed puzzle and a truck, both branded with Concreeto slogans.

2023
Due to growth, expanding the office became necessary to maintain a professional environment. When the building across from Concreeto became available, they moved in after a thorough renovation in January. The “old” office also received a facelift in the same style.
Clients and temporary workers are happily put in the spotlight, resulting in many smiling faces. This year, Concreeto organized a “Valentine’s campaign” that received wonderful responses! The business continues to grow, with staffing hours surpassing 450,000.

2024
For all these years, Concreeto has met the strict requirements of NBBU, SNA, VCU, and SNF. This demands increasing attention and detailed registration. To keep up with these standards in the future, a new software system was chosen.
Additional capacity was needed in the team, which has now grown to 14 colleagues in Rotterdam.

2025
No victory comes without a fight. That’s something Concreeto has experienced over the past year. This year, they are starting with changes already underway in both their systems and their team. But one thing remains clear: there is an incredible drive and determination. That will be their strength as they celebrate this milestone year. 15 years of Concreeto. Hip hip hooray!
