How to keep your motivation after the holidays
In deze blog:
1. Set achievable goals
Good intentions are great, but don’t make them too big. If a goal feels far away, it’s easy to lose motivation. Start small and concrete. For example, if you want more variety at work or want to learn something new, talk about it first. That’s the first step. Then you can build from there. Check weekly or monthly what works. Seeing progress helps you stay motivated.
2. Keep a routine
After the holidays, your rhythm can feel off because of all the busy days. Stick to regular times, clear agreements, and a good plan. A routine helps bring calm back to your mind and lets you see clearly what you need to do.3. Focus on what is going well
We often focus on what could be better. But looking at what is going well can boost your motivation. Ask yourself questions like: Have I been working with the same client for a while? Am I getting recognition for my work?If you can answer “yes,” be proud! Take a moment to appreciate these points that you usually don’t notice.
4. Keep talking
Are you facing challenges or have new wishes for this year? Talk about them. Whether it is your tasks, working hours, development, or the work atmosphere, speaking up can make a difference.By staying in contact with your coordinator, you can find solutions together, think about changes, or create new opportunities that suit you better. You are not alone—together we make sure you stay motivated and enjoy your work.
5. Take care of yourself
Motivation doesn’t come only from work. Enough sleep, healthy food, and relaxation make a bigger difference than you might think. Taking care of yourself gives you more energy. When you feel good, it shows at work: you focus better, enjoy your work more, and stay motivated.Looking for a new challenge that really fits you and lets you start the year with energy and motivation?
