As a Field Service Engineer you are responsible for overhauling and repairing turbochargers. You will work on both main propulsion systems and diesel engines installed in ships of all sizes. This ranges from fishing boats, large bulk carriers and container ships to power stations on land. As you know, minimizing merchant vessel downtime is critical to international trade. This means that there are times when you as an engineer have to work on an assignment for a longer period of time in order to successfully complete the job. When you are not working on site, you will be working in the client’s workshops. That is why it is important that you live within traveling distance of ’s-Gravendeel.
You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar naval engineering position. You certainly have an advantage if you also have 3 to 5 years of experience working on marine turbochargers. As a Field Service Engineer you are a methodical and resourceful mechanical engineer, who can work on your own initiative as well as lead a team of engineers. You also recognize yourself in the requirements below.
Of course, if you start working as a Field Service Engineer it will not be for nothing. You will be working for one of our clients and you will be rewarded for your labour. At Concreeto we provide you with a permanent contact person, who is always there for you. We also offer you the following:
Salary between € 3,000 and € 3,500 gross per month
