WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A MAINTENANCE MECHANIC?

You are committed to maintaining and making installations free of malfunctions. The company where you will be working produces biofuel from waste fats. You will work in an industrial, high-end working environment. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure effective preventive maintenance, so that the installations and facilities can operate free of malfunctions and cost-efficiently. In addition, you will have responsibility for the following tasks:

• You directly contribute to optimizing the preventive maintenance program;
• You will develop structural solutions for complex or regularly recurring malfunctions;
• You will fix the malfunctions during the regular service, but also during your consignment service;
• You will supervise external mechanics and guide them through progress and timely delivery.

WHO ARE YOU AS A MAINTENANCE MECHANIC?

You are a techie in heart and soul. As a Maintenance Mechanic you pay close attention to safety and quality. You can work well together with colleagues, know how to get things done and you are able to endure stress. Flexibility is one of your strongest qualities. You also recognize yourself in the following requirements:

• Technical training at Secondary Vocational Education level (mechanical engineering / mechatronics / electrical engineering);
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
• In possession of SCC (VCA);
• Preferably knowledge of NEN 3140 and PLC techniques;
• Willing to run consignment duties.
